Main Text Focus: Isaiah 33:6 I want to pray for godly wisdom as a treasure during these troubled times. Isaiah 33:6 states that godly wisdom will sustain the believers by providing an anchor through the Word of God. There are two kinds of wisdom that are operating on the earth. In James 3:15, James describes that the worldly wisdom is earthly, sensual, and devilish in creating envy and strive in men’s hearts. If you are confused about the situation, this wisdom is at work. Yet God has provided us with His wisdom. In Proverbs 2:5-7, we must seek after godly wisdom as a treasure. All godly wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord. We must have a profound respect for our Lord and his Word to receive His knowledge and understanding, As we move in godly wisdom found in James 3:17, peace shall be with us in all situations. We strive for godly knowledge and understanding in producing fruit in our lives. What is the fruit that God seek for our lives? Our lives should be a reflection of Galatians 5:22 which is the fruit of the Spirit love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control. Do not be wise in your own eyes but seek God in all things from Proverbs 3:5-7. Let us pray together for godly wisdom that leads to knowledge and understanding in God’s plan for your life.
Prayer of Victory:
In Jesus’ Name, we ask you to give us godly wisdom. Remove everything in our lives that keep us from having a profound respect for holiness and teach us to turn from sin. Give us the strength to repent so that we have a fear of you which is the beginning of godly wisdom. Remove confusion and strife from our heart for we know that this is earthly wisdom not from You. Teach us to acknowledge You in everything so You can direct our path. Let godly wisdom enter into our hearts so that we have peace that is pleasant to the soul. We thank you that You have granted our prayer in Jesus’ Name. Amen and Amen
