Do you know that you are an ambassador in Christ?

As ambassadors of Christ, we must restore the world through the Word of God and our testimony.  Your life is the mission by your actions to the people around you. Everything around us is affected by our words and actions- God moves through people.  You have been placed for a divine purpose at your job, home, family, and church. You are wonderfully and fearfully made to be specifically placed as an answer to someone. Looking at this new year- 2022, God has an expected end for us as stated in Jeremiah 29:11.  You are in His thoughts, my brothers and sisters in Christ. Jesus stated in Matthews 9: 37-38 that the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.  The world is the field- He wants us throughout the world on assignment. In Luke 9:62, Jesus needs us to fully commit to the service by shaking out the old life.  

Today, Christianity is seen as a religion. However, we should view ourselves as not members of religion but fellow citizens in the kingdom of God- Ephesians 2:19. Jesus stated repeatedly that He is a King throughout the Gospels as found John 18:36- My kingdom is not of this world.  A kingdom is a form of government- not a religion. This world has tried to pervert this because the god of this world- Satan has blinded the eyes so the truth is hidden. Jesus is a government figure because a kingdom is a type of government where the king has autonomy over the people. Jesus is the King of Heaven as you are a fellow citizen of His Kingdom and a hired representative on the Earth.  Luke 22:29 tells us that Jesus confers a kingdom to us through our association with Him. 

Therefore, Paul explicitly defines us as ambassadors of the Kingdom in both II Corinthians 5:20 and Ephesians 6:20. An ambassador is an official of highest rank who represents their head of states while in a foreign country. When we accepted Jesus as a personal Lord and Savior, He is our King- our Head of State. This world is no longer our home- We are traveling through this life to heaven as foreigners- Hebrews 11:13-16. As we make plans for new year, let us remember that the function of an ambassador. The King does the choosing of our assignments and purpose because He knew you before you were even born- wonderfully and fearfully made. We become more powerful when we are in God’s perfect will for our lives. Remember who you are- You are on assignment for the King!!

Father, as I plan for the new year- 2022, please let me remember that I am fellow citizen in Christ.  That I have been bought with a price- nothing in my life belongs to me.  My talents, gifts, shortcomings, and place in the world are in your Thoughts for my excepted end as stated in Jeremiah 29:11.  You have placed me on assignment as an ambassador. My life is my mission. You will provide protection through your angels so that I am effectively represent You.  Help me to remember that Jesus wants me to shake the old life so that I can gather the harvest.  Please keep me walking through this life as a pilgrim to reach my home- Heaven.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Do you know that God wants to refine us daily?

To begin our journey to heaven, we must accept Jesus Christ into our hearts. In describing Himself, He used the adjective, true.  True means in accordance to fact or reality.  Jesus states that He is the way, the truth and the light.  Our society portrays that there are many ways to God.  There is only one way to God- Jesus Christ.  John 3:16 states that God the Father loved us so much that He gave Jesus to die for our sins. For we all have sinned to fall short of God’s glory for our lives. However, God directs love toward us in our sinful state while we were partying, cussing, and hating our neighbor through Christ’s death. So, call upon the Name of the Lord to be saved in this life while there is time. It is just that simple to become a saint through the confession of the mouth. Jesus is the vine in which we receive our spiritual connection to the Father. Through Jesus, we are gifted with the Comforter- the Holy Spirit.  In John 16:8, the Spirit reproves us through righteousness so we can reflect Jesus in our lives.

Every saint has a different journey with the same destination- Heaven. We are just strangers in a foreign land passing through to reach our true home. Our steps are ordered by our Father who desires an expected end for us. As we travel, it is necessary for the Holy Spirit to produce fruit.  Jesus explained this using the vineyard where the Trinity (Father, Jesus, Spirit) takes on an intimate yet distinct roles.

Everything that Jesus taught was connected to daily life.  A husbandman is a person who manages his land with prudence and efficiency. We do not belong to ourselves when we accepted the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul stated in I Corinthians 3:17 that we are God’s temples where the Spirit dwells- places of worship. We belong to the Father as we are now connected to the true vine- Jesus. In this sense, the role of a husbandman gives us insight into how the Father interacts with us. He provides sustenance in which our physical and spiritual needs are met. The Father anticipates why we will react in a situation because He searches our hearts. We really do not know ourselves for Jeremiah 17:1 states the heart is deceitful above all things. Our understanding (heart) is faulty when interpreting events and/or actions.

Thus, God the Father reveals our true character, so He can refine or purge our actions to reflect godly traits. Jesus provides deeper meaning to this in John 15:2 by making a distinction between bearing and non-bearing branches. That is why is necessary to produce fruit in our lives for the Lord takes away any non-bearing branches. If we as branches are left untended, we become an unsightly mess that produce little fruit. As the Body of Church, we must endure daily pruning for the Father chastise whom He loves. The Father removes any impurity from our lives if we permit Him so the fruit of Spirit can be produced found in Galatians 5:22-23.

Prayer Seal:

Thank you that I can go boldly to the throne of grace through Jesus Christ.  Father, help me to bear more spiritual fruit in my life to reflect your Son, Jesus Christ.  Continue to prune everything that is contrary to Your Word so that I can continue to my true home- heaven. As my steps are ordered by you, teach me to trust that all things work for my good.  Teach me to understand that experience works patience and patience, hope.  Hope guides through my actions for faith without works is dead.  I want to be a branch that bears much fruit to the Father’s glory. As I bear fruit, show the way to continue to dwell in Christ for I can nothing in my life. Teach me to love my enemies as I love my friends. So, the world will know that I am a disciple of Christ for you have chosen me from the beginning of time. We as saints are ordained to spread the Gospel through our fruit that our fruit is forever.  Because of this, what we ask shall be given to us by the Father.  Thank you for allowing us to have a relationship with You.  In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Do you know that Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted? 

Life brings disappointment in various ways such as death of a loved one, loss of a job, or sudden illness.  Last February, I awoke in the hospital in ICU without the use of my legs.  As I laid in despair, I questioned my situation- Why me, Lord?  I heard the Spirit answer back- Why not you? The response caused me to reflect on what the Lord was teaching me through this life event.

As I study this verse, I focused on the word- bind up the brokenhearted.  What do these words mean?  Bind up means to wrap about or heal. Jesus’ mission on the earth was to heal the disappointed person through encouragement and love. God loves us all and our concerns trouble Him greatly.  Nothing separates us from God’s love according to Romans 8:35- not our distress, tribulation, and persecution.  As we experience these things, we can only choose two things- fear or faith.  Fear is confidence in our present situation that we will always experience lack while faith is the everlasting hope in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Faith is defined as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Through our increased spiritual understanding, we perceive that God’s Word frames our lives as He framed the worlds- visible and invisible.

Through experiences, we gain more profound perception concerning the power of God’s Word.  Paul said that he gloried in tribulations for this very reason in Romans 5:4-5.  He expounded that it is a process that we move from patience, experience, and hope. Through the mental struggle, my faith developed strength as I moved from the wheelchair to walking on my own. Hope is not made ashamed because of the love that is shed in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.  So, remember that we may struggle in our faith, but God is with us through the struggle guiding our steps in love. We determine the outcome that can bring us closer to understanding our Lord on a deeper level.

Prayer Seal:

Lord, help me with my unbelief.  Help me to see how the situation is for my good as You grow my faith to believe that You are capable to guide my life.  I know that You came to bind up the brokenhearted.  I am so broken through the present situation that I need to feel and experience Your love. Teach me how to accept Your will for my life despite my current doubts and fears.  Help me to recognize that nothing can separate me from Your love.  In Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Main Scriptural Text: Jeremiah 29:11 The Lord loves you above all else. His thoughts are always on you. He wishes to give you a peace that passes all understanding during this time. Faith in Who He IS and not in what He can give you will sustain courageous faith like the three Hebrew boys had when placed in the fiery furnace. They declared that they would stand for God regardless if He deliver them or not. Sustaining faith trust in who He is- not His benefits. We must trust that God’s will is enough for our lives. This means that His choices for us are excellent for the purpose that God has given us. Seek to know God’s purpose for your life is key at these troubling times. In Jeremiah 29:11, God has an expected end for you. He know you before you were formed. He wishes to restore you to your rightful place in Christ. He has plans to prosper you spiritually to take you greater places in Him. Are you willingly to go where He is taking you? Search your heart to know if you will take out your sinful nature to follow. The Lord is asking us to humble ourselves to His purpose and will.

Prayer of Victory: In Jesus’ Name, I ask You to humble me so I will seek after courageous faith that is depended on Who You Are – not the benefit. Your thoughts for me are good and righteous for my expected end to give a peace that passes all understanding. Amen and Amen

Main Text: Luke 4:18

Let us remember the reason for this holiday as found in Luke 4:18. Jesus died and rose so that we can continue the work that He began on the earth over 2000 years ago. The Holy Ghost was sent to us that we may move with the same anointing as Jesus Christ on the earth. Please know that we are equipped to fulfil this mission on the earth. Each one of us is unique in our calling and assignments on the earth. You are the answer to someone. Pray to be in tune to know that every person that cross your path is there for a purpose. Many are chosen but few are called. Find your calling and submit to do it despite any obstacles in the path. Teach us to preach the acceptable year of the Lord by knowing what to say someone in need of your Word as Jesus spoke on the earth. Please have a safe, wonderful Easter this year and remember who you are in Christ.

Prayer of Victory

In Jesus’ Name Lord, help me to remember my mission on the earth to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, preach deliverance to the captives, recover sight to the blind, bring freedom to the bruised, and preach the acceptable year of the Lord. That I amthe answer to someone as Jesus is an answer for me. Amen and Amen

My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither by weary of his correction- Proverbs 3:11

Even this time has been ordained by the Lord, so He can bring His church to a place of repentance and renewal. The Lord is working His spirit throughout the land by bringing people to prayer. As we pray, the Lord is listening to bring revival and restoration to His children. The Lord chastises those that He love in ways that may seem harsh and cruel. But it is not our place to judge God’s way but to acknowledge them. Proverbs 3: 11-12 tells us not to despise the Lord as He corrects us for He loves us to gain wisdom and knowledge. Another scripture that confirms this is found in Hebrews 12:6-8. It says that we should not remove our faces or cover our ears as the Lord rebukes us for the Lord so loves us to keep our souls for entering hell. If we endure what the Lord is doing and listen to His voice at this time, then we are His children. Whatever the Lord is trying to remove, clean, and separate from you at this time, please ask the Lord to give you the strength to do it. Please do not continue to strive with the Lord because He does truly love us. Please meditate on the scriptures from Proverbs and Hebrews for the Word is given by inspiration of God for correction and instruction in righteousness. Jesus Christ is coming for a church with a spot or blemish- people that are in right standing with Him. Psalms 15: 1 states that only righteousness will dwell on His holy hill. We all have fall short in our own righteousness which is like filthy rags. Please repent and turn for all ways that are not like Jesus while there is still time. Pray and seek His face so He can purify our hearts from inside. David prayed that the Lord cleanse him. That should be our prayer as well – Please cleanse us O’ Lord.

Prayer of Victory:

In Jesus’ Name Please let me not despise your rebuke that corrects my life. Renew my mind to know that You love me so much that such times are used to keep from spiritual harm. Your Son, Jesus Christ is coming for a church with spot or blemish and wish to count in that number. So please as David prayed to you- Cleanse me. I pray also that You purify my heart that I can turn from any thing that is not like You. Thank you that You have given me the strength to do so. Amen and Amen

Main Text: Matthews 10:29-31

Please know that perfect love casts away the fear of unknown. The Lord is aware of our pain and suffering when we are in the throes of despair during these trying times. In Matthews 10:30, your very hairs on your head have been counted. He is so attentive to us that He knows how many hairs on your head. There is no death or life or anything that can separate us from His love found in Romans 8:37- 39. He knows that fear can cripple the mind and break the spirit. So the Lord send us a comforter to make intercession for us by searching our hearts. The Holy Spirit prays on our behalf by the will of God in our lives. By clinging to the the promise found in Romans 8:28, we know that our Father loves us to work all things for our good- the bad, ugly, and good because we are called by His purpose. He loves so deeply that He gave us His most precious gift- His Son- John 3:16. For God is the expression of love that we now have a high priest that have been touched with human weakness that allows us to come boldly to the throne of grace in our need- Hebrews 4:15-16. Jesus Christ is acquainted with grief so He understand the sting of death for he came to heal the brokenhearted. So, bring your brokenness to Him and trade it in for joy. With a troubled heart, I will still praise your Name, O’ God for You will lift me in due time. For there is a rest for your people, You have promised that Your church will have an everlasting peace. In II Timothy 1:7, You have given us power in the Holy Ghost, love , and a sound mind.

Prayer of Victory:

In Jesus’ Name Please reveal to me Your love for me that casts away fear of the unknown. Thank you for Jesus for praying on my behalf for knowing my struggles and anxiety so I can boldly pray to the Father in need. I give you my brokenness and grief so that in time I may lift my head in joy and peace knowing that You have worked all things for my good according to your will. Teach me to praise Your Name in the bad, ugly, and good times while I am on this earth. Lastly, please keep my mind sound in Your understanding and knowledge for my life. I may not always comprehend why but You know the purpose and that is well for my soul and spirit. Amen and Amen

Main Text: Isaiah 33:6

In your alone time with the Lord, seek after wisdom and understanding like a treasure. As a saint, you need to acknowledge the Lord in all your ways for He will direct your path. Recognize that everything that you are that is good is because of the Lord in your life found in James 1:17. Isaiah 33: 6 states that you are stable in His wisdom and knowledge. Therefore, it is vital for us to seek His word for our lives during this time. It will be the stability that we need to calm this storm that is around us. Jesus is the Word of God as stated in John 1:1. Jesus brings us grace and truth to know God in a deeper way each day. James 1:25 states that you once know the perfect peace of God do not forget it but walk in the Word of God. As in Isaiah 33:6, the strength of your salvation or deliverance is determined by your persistence in knowing the Lord through prayer and the Word. Ask for wisdom for the Lord is waiting to give it to you as promised in Proverbs 2:5-6. Know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Psalms 15 answers the question of who rests in God’s church or dwells on His holy hill. It tells us that the Lord honors the person that fears HIm. By our actions, we respect the Word- Jesus Christ- through words and deeds. So, I encourage you to ask the Lord for wisdom for she is like a tree of life to all that lay hold of her for her paths are peace.

Prayer of Victory:

In Jesus’ Name, please give me wisdom in these troubled times. Open my spiritual eyes and ears to know your ways so that I may have peace that rests upon your Word which is Jesus Christ. Teach me to govern my ways that they are aligned to You. Lord, correct me so that I may not stray from Your Will in my life. I wish to dwell in Your House forever, Lord. Amen and Amen.

Main Text: I Peter 1:22 I would like to encourage you in finding ways to exercise the gifts that God has placed in you for such time as this for beautiful is the fellowship of saints together with one vision. You are beautifully unique in God’s plan for the Body of Christ. There is no one else that can fit your calling and purpose. Please know that before God formed you- He knew your specific place in this earth found in Jeremiah 1:1. He knew what gifts and calling that you would have for the Body of Christ. In Ephesians 4:1, Paul calls us to walk worthy of the calling placed on our lives. Remember that your life is the Christian mission. You have been called to gather the harvest with meekness and longsuffering. We are given gifts for the perfection of the saints to build each other in the faith for this purpose. We need each other more than ever. Rest in the knowledge that you were called for this time from the foundation of the world as in Ephesians 1:4 for his good pleasure of His will. We are pilgrims in this earth as heavenly citizens to walk in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Please hold on the gift of God which is your faith. Faith is the expectation of things not seen for He is our peace. Our foundation is built upon the apostles and prophet with Jesus Christ as our cornerstone. We are stones that are fitly joined together for the holy temple in the Lord. The Holy Spirit dwells with us as we are one as the Body of Christ. Find your place in this time and work in the calling that God has given you. We need each other through these troubles- You are someone’s solution. Fight the good fight of faith to remember God’s promise to you for you are lovely in God’s sight. Everything is by God’s purpose and plan. Romans 8:28 says that we know that all things- the good, bad, and ugly- work together for good to them that love God that are called according to His purpose. We must alway know and believe that His purpose is best for our lives.

In Jesus Name Lord, please help me to understand that I am lovely in your sight as I strive to find my place in these troubled times. I know that I am uniquely made to gather the harvest at this time as events are governed by your Divine purpose. As I hold on the gift of God which is faith. I expect peace to preside in my heart as I meditate on your Word. Operating in the gifts so I am jointly framed with my brothers and sisters in Christ will be my mission in this life. Many things that are happening I do not understand but know that You are forever in control. I am under your protection as I move according to Your will. This place is not home as I travel in heavenly places in Christ. Please let me remember that my life is the Christian mission as I gather the harvest while there is time. Make me sensitive to other’s needs to know that I have placed on the earth for a purpose. Amen and Amen.
